Oral Transmission of the Bardo Thodrol

Dear students, friends, and sponsors of YPNV,

We would like to thank all of the participants who attended the oral transmission of the Bardo Thodrol at YPNV, which was presided over by our resident lama, Khenpo Ugyen Wangchuk. We also offer our deepest gratitude to Khenpo Wangchuk for conferring these precious transmissions and condensed teachings of the fifth Bardo of Dharmadata or reality and the sixth Bardo of existence or becoming.

All these auspicious activities would not have been possible without the blessings and compassion of His Holiness Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche.

Receiving these oral transmissions and partaking in Jangchok and 100 Deities pujas are highly beneficial as they are crucial for our Dharma practice, which is to prepare for our liberation. As reminded by Khenpo Wangchuk, at the time of our passing, only the Buddha, our root guru or our wisdom deity such as Guru Rinpoche, Amitabha, Avalokiteshvara, Tara, and so forth, can help and protect us. Hence, when we are alive, we should single-pointedly be devoted to our Dharma practice and be habitually familiar with our wisdom deity.

May all of the merits accumulated be dedicated to the enlightenment of all sentient beings. ??????
