YPNV Life Release Ceremony 2024

For this Ullambana – Yulan festival, YPNV has also organised a life release ceremony on 19th August, Monday. Merits from liberating these fishes that face impending demise will be transferred to the deceased in addition to establishing a karmic connection between these creatures and the Buddha-Dharma.

Please take note that seats on the boat are limited to 30 pax only and are on a first come, first served basis. All participants must be at the Pelabuhan Klang Selatan or South Port in Klang by 8.10 am to board the passenger boat with our Sangha community led by Khenpo Ugyen Wangchuk. A vegetarian lunch will be served in Pulau Ketam and we will be back at the South Port by about 1.30 pm.

A detailed itinerary will be provided to the participants who are joining the life-release physically in due course.
